Novemburrrrr

Did I mention that I don't like cold weather?

There is a reason I live in Texas... I like it a little warm. I have always said, for as long as I can remember, that I would rather be a little sweaty than a little chilly.

Coworkers and people I know mention that they love the cold crisp mornings and the brisk cold winds of winter.

I don't!

I'd rather it be in the upper 80s or 90s.

This last summer I would go outside to read during my lunch in the 100+ degree hot summer sun. And I was happy.

Now I walk as quick as I can to the warmth of a building. During the winter I feel like I never get warm enough. Sweaters make me feel unnecessarily bulky and fat.

I know, I know... I'm a Pagan. I celebrate the changing of the seasons. It's the natural way of life. It doesn't mean I have to like it!

Ugh, you can have the heat. I hate the summers here in Phoenix, where summer spends the winter and hell spends the summer.

It's supposed to get down between 18 to 22 degrees tonight here. At least that's in town. We usually get about 10 degrees colder than that. NOT.A.FAN!!!!

I come from Northern Stock, so cold weather is like mother's milk to me. Yule is more joyous than Beltane.

my ideal winter would be in the 70s, no stupid snow, and LOTS of sunshine.

today it was rainy and dark BEFORE 4p. WTF?

I guess this means you won't be moving up to the Great White North anytime soon to be my cuddle bunny. Darn!!

Right now it's a balmy 5 degrees F but in a couple of months, it probably will be -30 with a howling wind.

Advance notice...... so, the final '5 on the fifth' needs to feature as many people as possible! Just take 5 photographs on the days leading up to the 5th and publish those on your own blog and then add the link to my blog so that others can find your images.

As always, you can either take 5 random pictures or follow this months theme:
