She was always very quiet and shy growing up.
She has always loved animals.
She never dated while in high school.
She was always late whenever we sent somewhere as a family. This drove me crazy. Since I was the peacemaker in the family I always tried to help her or be patient to wait, but it still drove me crazy.
Today we are not in contact with each other, it is a long story for another time.
When I was 5 yrs old my mother had a still birth and the next year miscarried another baby. They felt they should have one more child so we adopted another baby.

My mother wanted a newborn, but had a dream one night where her grandafther gave her an older baby and told her that he had been working to get this baby to our family. The next morning my folks got a call from LDS Social Services that they had a 6 week old girl if we were interested. My parents said yes, then asked when she was born. October 16th, oldest sister's birthday 11 years later. On December 5th mom flew, in a snow storm, to Los Angles to pick her up. A year later we went to the Mormon temple in Manti, Ut to be sealed together as a family. This is where the whole family knelt around an alter in the temple so that a priesthood holder promised that, if we lived right, we would be a family for erernity.
Little sister was always fun, she was not quiet and shy like my siblings.
She always had energy and tons of toys and friends.
We are still close and I love her kids like my own.
Happy Birthday Sisters!

Those sorts of estranged relations are never easy. I had tons of friends growing up in Boise who would spend their weekends driving back and forth to Idaho Falls to the temple there for the sealing ceremonies. Boise has a temple at this point...so I suppose they don't have to drive any longer!
